These terms govern use of FairFind, case management software for workplace investigators, operated by Chiedza Nziramasanga in Washington State ("FairFind", "we"). By creating a workspace or accepting an invitation to one, you agree to them on your own behalf and, if you create the workspace, on behalf of the firm you represent (the "Firm").
FairFind provides tools to manage investigation matters: clients, parties, scheduling, documents, time and invoicing, email and calendar connections to accounts the Firm chooses, generated documents from the Firm's templates, and AI-assisted first drafts. FairFind is a tool. It does not provide legal, investigative or professional advice, and it does not replace the judgment of the investigator responsible for a matter.
You must give accurate account information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Workspace owners decide who may join their workspace and in what role, and may remove access at any time. We strongly recommend two-factor sign-in for every user, given the confidential nature of investigation files.
Everything the Firm puts into its workspace remains the Firm's. FairFind processes it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. The Firm is responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and store the information it puts into FairFind, including information about its clients, complainants, respondents and witnesses, and for meeting any professional obligations that apply to it. Owners may export all of the Firm's data at any time and may delete the workspace, after which the data is permanently erased following a seven-day grace period.
Drafts produced with AI assistance are starting points for the investigator's review and editing. They may contain errors or omissions. The Firm is solely responsible for reviewing, correcting and deciding whether to use any draft, and for anything it sends to a third party. FairFind does not send AI drafts to anyone outside the Firm on its own.
When a user connects Google, Microsoft 365, Zoom or an AI provider, the user authorizes FairFind to act on their behalf in that service for the actions they initiate in the app. Those services' own terms also apply. Users may disconnect at any time.
You agree not to use FairFind to break the law, to store or send unlawful content, to attempt to access another firm's workspace, to probe or disrupt the service, to send unsolicited bulk email, or to resell the service. We may suspend access that threatens the security or integrity of the service, and will tell the Firm's owners when we do.
During the pilot, FairFind is provided without charge. When paid plans begin, the Standard plan is priced per investigator per month, as shown on the Plan and billing page, and billed through Stripe monthly or annually. Fees will not be charged to any Firm without its owner starting a subscription. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before a renewal.
We aim to keep FairFind available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted service during the pilot. We will announce planned maintenance in advance when we can. Support is by email at hello@fairfind.app.
We treat the Firm's workspace content as confidential. We will not access it except to provide the service, to resolve a problem at the Firm's request, to protect the security of the service, or as the law requires, and we will tell the Firm when the law allows.
FairFind is provided "as is" during the pilot. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FairFind disclaims implied warranties, and its total liability to the Firm for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the fees the Firm paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred dollars if the Firm paid none. Neither party is liable to the other for indirect, consequential or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
The Firm may stop using FairFind at any time and may delete its workspace from the app. We may end the pilot or a Firm's access with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms, in which case we will give the Firm a reasonable opportunity to export its data.
If these terms change in a material way, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and notify workspace owners by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.
